Introduction
Hello and welcome to my online portfolio. It has been developed in response to people wanting to know what sort of painting I do. Up until now I have tried to define myself variously as a traditional, figurative, impressionistic or representational artist. I guess any one of these descriptive terms might be appropriate, but it is the subject and what I want to say about it that tends to dictate my approach. This is why I decided a website would be a good way of explaining a style that has not yet developed into, what you might call, an artistic signature.
Although my primary purpose is to promote my own artwork, I have also included a guest section for other artists. Anyone wishing to avail themself of this free facility should email me using the contact form provided. This can be opened from any page by clicking on "Contact Me" in the site header.
Finally, it must be said that I have gone through a steep learning curve to achieve an online presence. The "techno-speak" within software manuals has always dampened my enthusiasm for DIY website projects - that is until I came across a Mac based web design software package called Sandvox.. This application is so flexible and intuitive. It has more than met all that I was expecting from it and I cannot give it a stronger endorsement.
