ARTIST'S STATEMENT

My name is Pat Marshall and I live in Burton Joyce, Nottinghamshire with my husband Bernard. I have been attending Jenni Bambury's art classes in East Bridgford for many years. I like to work quickly and sketch whilst I am out and about, later developing the sketch with water colour and black pen. I have recently discovered pastel which suits my temperament well, and I enjoy landscapes and seascapes in particular. I have painted a lot in Jersey where my daughter lives and also in Greece where I have a neice living on the island of Lipsi.
