Two of my paintings have been accepted for hanging at the next *Royal Cambrian Academy of Art's Open Exhibition . The event, which was originally scheduled to run from 7th January until 26th February 2012, will now start on Saturday 31st March 2012 and finish on 12th May 2012. The RCA Gallery is located in Crown Lane, Conwy, North Wales. DW

The Townsend Workshop Group will be holding their annual art exhibition and sale of work on Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of October between 10am and 4.30pm. As usual, the event will be held at Hoveringham Village Hall, Nottinghamshire. Refreshments are available and admission is free.

I've just heard that a painting I submitted to the Nottingham Castle Annual Open 2011 has been accepted. The exhibition, which will show the work of "emerging and established artists" from the whole of the Midlands, is run in partnership with The New Art Exchange and will be held at Nottingham Castle and Art Gallery between 8th October and 6th November. A small group exhibition showing a few of my paintings will be held at Langar Hall, Nottinghamshire, starting on 9th August 2011 and running for one month. The exhibition will also include work by Richard Simkins (my current guest on this website) and four other artists. DW
