The terms “the artist”  or “he” refer to David Williams, the author of this website portfolio. The terms “you” or “visitor” refer to the user or viewer of this website.



1.              This Policy covers the collection, processing and other use of personal data under the Data Protection Act 1998 (“DPA”) and the General Data Protection Regulations (“GDPR”). By continuing to browse and use this website, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the terms within the Policy. If you have any queries with regard to its content, please contact the artist  who will consider any point you might raise when the Policy is next updated.


2.              The main purpose of this website is to showcase and discuss the artist’s artwork. It is not an online sales platform and data will not be collected to produce a mailing list.


3.              Occasionally an enquiry from a visitor will involve the sharing of personal information and the following paragraphs deal with the processing and storage of such data.


4.              As a rule the only personal data collected in an email exchange will be:

5.             The artist takes the confidentiality of any information received from visitors seriously and will usually delete it after an enquiry has been answered. If the circumstances require the data to be retained for future use, it will be stored on an offline memory stick and kept in a secure place that is only accessible to the artist.. Please note that your data will not be passed to a third party organisation.


6.             This website does not use cookies, nor does it have links with social media accounts (such as Facebook, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.). The artist’s computer is always protected by security software.


7.              As this website develops it may include references or links to other art websites.  These links will not imply that the artist endorses them. Third party websites are outside his control and he cannot assume responsibility for their policies or practices. However, the artist encourages you to review the privacy policies for such sites because they may contain procedures for collecting, handling and processing personal data that will be different from that adopted by this website. 


8.             Reproduction of the graphics on this website is subject to copyright and the artist’s permission should be sought.


9.             The above policies will be kept under review and updated to reflect changes in the website’s development  and user feedback.
